This is an excellent preparatory practice for loosening up the knee and hip joints.
Since the knee joint bears the whole weight of the body and has no strong muscles for support, it is most vulnerable to injuries, sprains and osteoarthritis. All the knee exercises strengthen the quadriceps muscle and the ligaments around the knee joint. These exercises rejuvenate the joint by activating the healing energies.
Practise this poses for 2 weeks everyday and observe your feeling. Then continue Three times a week.
